One-Dimensional Investigation 
The analytical solution of φ = (exp(-abs(x)/l)) and its stabilised counterpart φ^ς = (exp(-ς(x^2)/l)) are used to calculate the crack surface. The normed error eΓl (Eq. 56) is depicted for different parameter l (orange) and kφ (blue).
