Mean Stress Sensitivity of Cold-Worked High-Purity Copper: A comprehensive dataset

The influence of work hardening on the fatigue behaviour of high-purity copper was investigated using commercially available sheet material (3 mm thickness, as-delivered, no additional rolling or heat treatment) in three strength classes (indicated by their R-number, a measure of minimum tensile strength): R240 (two independently supplied batches, R240-1 and R240-2), R290, and R360. These material states are representative of copper conductors used in electrical applications such as traction motors, generators, and battery systems.
For each material state, the dataset comprises:
1. Microstructural characterization by electron backscatter diffraction (EBSD).
2. Quasi-static (monotonic) tensile tests in strain control, using the same specimen geometry as the fatigue specimens (10 mm gauge length; not a standard tensile geometry, so results beyond necking are not comparable to standardized tensile tests).
3. Load-controlled fatigue (Wöhler/S-N) tests on smooth, unnotched specimens at several load ratios, used to quantify the combined effect of mean stress and work-hardening state on fatigue strength. Run-out was defined at 5 10^7 load cycles.

All measurements were carried out using the all-glass dynamic recirculation still “Labodest VLE 602” (i-Fischer Engineering GmbH, Germany). Detailed information about the materials, experimental setup, experimental procedure, and standard uncertainties can be found in the associated publication.
The file “Vapor_pressure_data.txt” contains vapor pressure data for each of the five pure organic carbonates: dimethyl carbonate (DMC), ethyl methyl carbonate (EMC), diethyl carbonate (DEC), ethylene carbonate (EC), and propylene carbonate (PC).
The file “Binary_VLE_data.txt” contains binary vapor-liquid equilibrium (VLE) data for all 10 binary combinations of the five organic carbonates. The measurements were performed at 101.3 kPa and 25.0 kPa, with the exception of the PC–EC system. For PC–EC, measurements were performed at 25.0 kPa and 5.0 kPa due to observed thermal degradation at temperatures above approximately 483–493 K.
The file “Multicomponent_VLE_data.txt” contains ternary VLE data for the systems DMC–EMC–DEC, DMC–DEC–PC, and EMC–PC–EC, as well as quinary VLE data.

Multisensor Bicycle Overtaking Raw Dataset for Predictive Criticality Assessment

This dataset contains 71 multimodal field recordings collected with a mobile bicycle-mounted sensing platform to support research on the early assessment of potentially critical motor-vehicle overtaking manoeuvres. Each recording includes synchronized data from a rear-facing TI AWR1843BOOST 77 GHz mmWave radar, TF-Luna time-of-flight and HC-SR04 ultrasonic lateral-distance sensors, a camera, GPS, and an inertial measurement unit, together with diagnostic logs. Seventeen sessions additionally contain live machine-learning inference and warning logs. The data support causal vehicle tracking, trajectory reconstruction, overtaking-event detection, reference-assisted labeling, full-ride replay, and the evaluation of edge-deployable warning models. The final thesis evaluation used a manually reviewed event dataset derived from 53 rides, comprising 491 usable events. Two rides contain header-only IMU files and are handled using explicit missing-data indicators.
Supplementary focus-group documentation is included only as a presentation-pdf and statistical questionnaire.
